Steve & Deb Ohrtman serve as Senior Pastors of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Baraboo, WI.

Steve Ohrtman was born in Iowa and attended Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. His third year of undergraduate work was at the Institute for European Studies in Vienna, Austria. He received his Masters of Divinity from Wartburg Seminary at Dubuque, Iowa in 1978. Steve has served at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sterling, Illinois and several churches in Minnesota. During his years at Pipestone, Minnesota he completed his Doctorate of Ministry focusing in popular religion and Luther's "Theology of the Cross."

Debbie Ohrtman was also born in Iowa and while attending the Presbyterian seminary she met Steve in an ecumenical class taught by Father Beck from the Catholic seminary! She transferred to Wartburg and married Steve. Debbie also received her Masters of Divinity from Wartburg in 1978. Deb has served at St. John's Lutheran Church in Sterling, Illinois and several churches in Minnesota with her husband Steve.

Steve and Deb have three boys, Dan, Andy and Mark. Dan is working in New York. Andy is at the University of Illinois. Mark is at the University of Wisconsin in Madison.
